The concept behind the shoot is based on the idea of visibility and lack thereof; the idea of a thin veil between what is on the surface and what is almost hidden beneath within the LGBTQ community and their portrayal within the media. With the use of a veil as a prop to illustrate the idea of non-binary people not being visible within the media, with the prop’s translucent nature and bright pop of colour to play with the idea of making a statement.
